Experience an exciting trek through Sam and Cam Mountains, blending cultural exploration with breathtaking nature. This journey offers stunning landscapes, sacred temples, and a mix of easy and rugged trails.
At 8:00AM, our guide and car will take us at the hotel and depart for Chau Doc (5h – 5h30). We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit Jamuil Azhar Mosque – an important cultural and religious site, to learn about the traditions of the Cham community and visit the mosque.
After that, we will transfer to the hotel and check-in. Then we will meet local guide at the lobby and start trekking Sam mountain from the hotel. We will trek 1.5km up via stairs and a paved road, stopping at Long Son Pagoda. Enjoy panoramic views at the summit before descending a rugged 3.5km trail. Visit Hang Pagoda on the way down, then return to the hotel, completing this adventure.
After arriving, we will take a rest. Before Dinnertime, our guide and car will come and take us to have dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Trekking about 4-5km.
After breakfast, we will check-out the hotel and transfer to Cam mountain. Then we will meet the local guide and start trekking Cam Mountain.
The route winds through lush landscapes, passing Thot Not Field, Custard Apple Hill, Que Tree Shrine, Huynh Long Shrine, Secret Shrine, and Thanh Long Stream, offering breathtaking views. We will stop at Palmyra Field to taste fresh palmyra and experience local harvesting, enjoy the panoramic scenery at Custard Apple Hill, and soak in the mystical atmosphere of Huynh Long Shrine, where a quick outdoor lunch awaits. The adventure peaks at Thanh Long Stream, An Giang’s longest stream (4.25km), perfect for a refreshing dip and group fun. The trek wraps up at Cam Mountain Tourist Area, capping off a day of nature, exploration, and discovery. We will have picnic lunch on the way.
After the trip, our guide and car will take us back to Saigon.
We will arrive in Saigon in the late afternoon.
