Itinerary

DAY 1: SAIGON (HO CHI MINH CITY) - MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO (Breakfast, Lunch)

n the morning, our guide and car pick you up to My Tho City. Arriving in My Tho city, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda (Vinh Truong Co Tu), the ancient temple of more than 100 years. Especially, there are two cultural and architectural features of East and West intermingled, so the beauty of Co Tu is harmonious.

We will cruise on Tien River to admire the 4 islets: Long, Lan, Qui, and Phung, and stop at Thoi Son islet to visit the coconut candy oven, enjoy traditional coconut candy, try seasonal fruits, listen to Don Ca Tai Tu, a kind of Southern folk song, and experience rowing boats in the canal between 2 rows of cool, green water coconuts.

Have lunch at a local restaurant at Con Phung.

In the afternoon, we will continue the journey to visit Con Phung: The Coconut Monk’s Sanctuary, the Crocodile Farm, and the Mini Zoo. After the motorboat back to My Tho City, we will go back to Can Tho City.

Check in Hotel and have dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 2: CAN THO – TRA SU – CHAU DOC – CAN THO (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast at Hotel and check out. Then our vehicle will take us to Long Xuyen, An Giang. We will visit Tra Su Forest, this is the most beautiful and famous Melaleuca Forest in Vietnam, which set a record on January 9, 2020. It has a large natural habitat in the Mekong Delta because of its rich flora and fauna and diverse aquatic resources.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Chau Doc to visit:

  • Ba Chua Xu Temple on Sam Chau Doc Mountain, a famous spiritual destination in the South.
  • Tomb of Thoai Ngoc Hau—Son Lang is one of the founding fathers of the Nguyen Dynasty, a general who has contributed to expanding the southwestern region of the country.
  • Hang Pagoda (Phuoc Dien Tu), which has a history of more than 100 years, is one of the four historical and cultural relics of Sam Mountain.

After that, our vehicle will take us back to Can Tho. Have dinner at your own arrangement. Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 3: CAN THO – TAY DO – SAIGON (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast at Hotel and check out. Our vehicle will take us to the boat to visit Cai Rang floating market, the largest wholesale floating market in the West. Weaving between hundreds of boats selling agricultural products, we will enjoy local specialties on the boat.

The boat continues to enter the small canal to visit the noodle factory, enjoy the specialty pizza noodles (at own expense), model the Southern garden house, learn about Southern fruit trees, and experience the Western monkey bridge. After returning to Ninh Kieu wharf, we will come to visit Binh Thuy Ancient House, a house more than 140 years old with a harmonious interference between the two architectural cultures of East and West.

The horizontal boat will go down the Hau River to bring us to the Con Son raft fishing village, where we will visit the raft farming model with about 50 fish rafts and local people feeding the fish while taking souvenir photos.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

This afternoon, we will experience going to Cau Khi, which is made of bamboo stalks arranged in series and looks like “only a monkey can pass”. You can see locals crossing Cau Khi extremely easily, but for visitors, this is definitely a challenge, moving to a house to experience Southern folk cake making, and enjoying the results on the spot. Continue to visit fruit garden: rambutan, grapefruit, longan, orange, or star apple.

Back to the mainland, our vehicle will take us back to Saigon and check in Hotel. In the evening, have dinner at your own arrangement. After that, you should head out and join the energetic nightlife of Saigon on your own arrangement. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) DEPARTURE (Breakfast)

At leisure after breakfast to enjoy your own time, or hang around to buy gifts for our families.

We will say goodbye. Hope to see you for a longer trip in Vietnam!
