Discover the stunning landscapes of Northern Vietnam on this 4-day journey through Sapa, O Quy Ho Pass, Mu Cang Chai, and Tu Le. Itinerary

DAY 1: HANOI - SAPA - TREKKING LAO CHAI, TA VAN VILLAGES - SAPA (LUNCH)

In the morning, your private Guide and vehicle will meet you at your hotel. We will drive for about 5 hrs or more to Sapa, taking the Highway Hanoi – Lao Cai.

Upon arrival, we will check-in the hotel before having a delicious lunch of the mountain dishes. 

In the afternoon, let’s start trekking via small trails (5, 6km) down Muong Hoa Valley toward Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong people. Here we will discover their daily life, and how they make traditional clothes, handicrafts, indigo products, etc. We will visit the biggest valley which provides the best view of golden rice terraced fields in Vietnam. After Lao Chai, let’s walk to Ta Van village of the Giay people. This is a small group of ethnic people with a rich culture and beautiful houses located on rice paddy fields.

Later, our vehicle will pick us up at the meeting point to go back to the hotel. In the evening, our guide will take you around the Sapa Stone Church, telling you stories about Sapa Love Market every Saturday night, and you can taste from Sapa street foods for dinner to various snacks, including grilled corn, potatoes, or eggs (own expenses).

DAY 2: : SAPA – O QUY HO PASS – GARRYA RESORT - MU CANG CHAI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

(Breakfast at hotel). After checking out the hotel, our guide and car will take us to O Quy Ho Pass, one of the most breathtaking mountain passes in Vietnam. The winding road offers panoramic views of the majestic Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range.

Our first stop is Heaven’s Gate, the highest viewpoint of the pass, where we will admire a stunning sea of clouds and the vast valley below. Next, we will visit Silver Waterfall, where cascading waters flow down from great heights, creating a dramatic scene amidst the lush mountains.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at Garrya Resort, a luxurious retreat hidden in the mountains. Here, you can unwind with spa treatments, herbal baths, or a peaceful nature walk in the surrounding greenery.

DAY 3: GARRYA RESORT - KHAU PHẠ PASS – LE CHAMP HOT SPRINGS (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)

After breakfast at the resort, we continue our journey towards Khau Phạ Pass, one of the most famous and scenic mountain passes in Vietnam. Known for its breathtaking views of golden rice terraces, especially during the harvest season, this route is a photographer’s dream.

We will stop at Mam Xoi Hill and Mong Ngua Hill, two iconic spots for capturing the beauty of the region. We then visit Màng Mủ Village, where we participate in a batik wax painting workshop, a traditional H’Mong art form that involves creating intricate patterns using hot wax and natural dyes.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Tu Le.

In the afternoon, we will arrive at Le Champ Resort & Hot Springs, a hidden wellness retreat nestled in the valley. You can soak in natural mineral baths, enjoy a traditional herbal steam bath, or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Dinner is served at the resort’s restaurant, featuring regional delicacies.

DAY 4: LE CHAMP - TU LE – HANOI (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)

After breakfast at the resort, you will have free time to enjoy a leisurely morning in the hot springs, take a nature walk, or simply relax and embrace the serene environment.

After checking out, we will depart for Hanoi. Lunch en route.

Arriving in Hanoi late afternoon. Goodbye and hope to see you back in another longer trip!

Price

Children Policies

  • Children under 5 years old: no extra bed needed and the child sleeps with their parents: free of charge if there is one child, the second child is charged 50% of the adult tour price.
  • Children from 5-11 years old: sharing the bed with their parents, the charge is 85% of the adult tour price.
  • Children from 12 years old: charged as an adult.

Notes

  • No services have been kept until a confirmation is made in writing and a deposit of 30-80% is made; the balance is expected to be settled three working days prior to the first day of the tour.
  • Hotels and other services can be adjusted twice to the guests’ interests with no service charge.

Terms of Payment

  • VRTO accepts payment and deposit by both bank transfer and credit card using One Pay.
  • This price is usually one month valid unless a deposit is made to Confirm the booking
  • and to discuss further the routes, hotels, program design, or any other offers to the Guests.
  • Pro-forma Invoice will be provided upon the confirmation of the program.
