The beautiful villages in Quang Uyen District (Cao Bang) are excellent stopovers for visitors to explore the traditional villages of the Nung.

About 30 km away from Cao Bang to north-east is where Quang Uyen district is. An attractive area with beautiful villages at the foot of the mountain, mixed in the rice fields and fresh green flowers. Quang Uyen is located on the way to Ban Gioc waterfall in Chongqing, quite close to the center of Cao Bang city, so it has a favorable geographic position that tourists are not difficult to find.

Another hundreds-of-year lasting profession is incense making of Nung people in Phia Thap village in Quoc Dan commune, which is famous not only within district and province area. Many people in neighboring provinces also come to buy Phia Thap incense. Different from the busy atmosphere of Pac Rang village, Phia Thap village has a quiet and serene atmosphere.

The job of making incense more or less contributes to bringing an adequate life for the people there. Incense is often sold the most at the end of the year, so on the days of the Lunar New Year, the atmosphere of this village is getting more bustling than ever.
