Điệp Homestay, located in Phia Thắp village, Cao Bằng province, Vietnam, offers guests an authentic experience of local culture and traditions. As part of VRTO’s community-based tourism initiatives, this homestay provides comfortable accommodations in a traditional setting, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the daily life of the Nùng ethnic group. Guests can participate in activities such as incense making and explore the picturesque limestone landscapes surrounding the village.

Điệp homestay is a traditional house of the Nung people located in a beautiful village near Ban Gioc waterfall and Nguom Ngao cave, 02 famous tourist sites of Trung Khanh district. It was refurbished in 2018 with essential equipment such as a toilet with septic tank, bathroom with shower and hot water. From the house you have a beautiful view over rice paddies and corn fields. There are 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms with hot water. The ground floor serves as a living room for owners and the second floor is reserved to guests. There is a beautiful balcony in front of the house, you can have your breakfast or coffee here. The house started opening to guests in April 2018.
The owners offer breakfast made up of bread, sticky rice, pho (not often) and fried rice. They also serve hearty lunch and dinner in local style or upon guests’ request with pork, chicken, beef, fish and other local food.
