Description

Hoang Ngoc Kim homestay is a traditional house of the Nung An people located in a village of incense makers. It was refurbished in December 2016 with essential equipment such as a toilet with septic tank, bathroom with shower and hot water. From the house you have a beautiful view over rice paddies and corn fields. There are 3 toilets and 3 bathrooms with hot water. The ground floor serves as a living room as well as a spacious, airy dining room. The house is made of 100% wood with yin and yang roof tiles making it a very beautiful and spectacular house. The house started opening to guests in March 2017.

Food

The owners offer breakfast made up of bread, sticky rice, pho (not often) and fried rice. They also serve hearty lunch and dinner in local style or upon guests’ request with pork, chicken, beef, fish and other local food.

Activities offered

Walking, biking, visiting nearby craft villages.

After participating in CRED-sponsored study tours, I felt that my family could adopt this homestay model to help improve our life.
